About Me:
Hi, I am Madalyn Bailey. I am a 11-year radiation oncology professional with 4 of those years being in clinical leadership. I’m also a wife and mother of four children with a direct stake in the success and safety of our schools. I have been a proud resident of the Robbinsdale School District for over 25 years and have developed deep connections in the community through volunteering and community activism.
Why I Am Running:
For too long, district 281 has prioritized "rubber-stamping" over the rigorous oversight that students, staff, and families deserve. As a parent and neighbor, I have felt the heartbreak of school closures firsthand and heard the mounting frustration in our hallways, experiences that have given me a direct pulse on the needs of our community. I am running for the school board to move beyond this era of passive voting and restore the checks-and-balances role mandated by Minnesota Statute. My mission is to elevate the voices of our families and children, ensuring every policy choice honors the dedicated staff who make public education possible and rigorously supports every student’s educational journey.
