About Me:
Hi, I’m Madalyn and I’m running for School Board in the Robbinsdale School District. As a proud resident of the Robbinsdale School District for over 25 years, I have built deep connections through lifelong volunteering and community activism. As a wife and mother of four children, I have a direct stake in the success and safety of our schools. Additionally, I have felt the heartbreak of school closures firsthand and heard the mounting frustration in our hallways, which gives me a direct pulse on the community's needs. With 11 years in radiation oncology, including six in clinical leadership, I am an expert at navigating complex systems, leading under pressure, and advocating for others.

My goal is to mend relationships, heal school divisions, and foster collaboration between the school board, individual schools, staff, and the families within the Robbinsdale school district, moving beyond an "us vs. them" mindset.
Trust is fractured and it can only be rebuilt through total financial accountability and transparency. To move forward, we must look back, own our mistakes, and utilize them as learning opportunities for future improvement.
Student achievement begins with safety and security in our schools. By maintaining a stable and protected environment, we ensure that students, staff, and parents can focus on what matters most: our children's future.
Our schools are only as strong as the people within them. We stand behind our dedicated staff, providing them with the tools, resources, wages, and respect they need to do what they do best: inspire the next generation.

• Election Date: Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2026.• Polling Places & Registration Status: Click below to register to vote, verify voter status, and/or find your polling location.

District 281 serves communities spanning: Robbinsdale, Crystal, New Hope, Plymouth, Golden Valley, Brooklyn Center, Brooklyn Park
• Mail-In Ballots: Early mail-in voting begins 46 days before Election Day, which marks the start of election offices mailing out requested ballots. It is recommended to apply for and mail back your ballot at least 7 days before Election Day to ensure timely delivery. Mail-in ballots must be received by election officials no later than 8:00 p.m. on Election Day.
